Winter classes for GRCC are wrapped up, and other than one online class for them this summer, I am able to focus on theatrical endeavors. It’s going to be a busy summer!
On May 16, it’s an interactive murder mystery at The Old Theater in Lowell, Michigan! Set in 1928, there will be hilarious vaudeville comedy, sultry songbirds, and intrigue galore! Along with a delicious buffet dinner. Get your tickets today at https://www.theoldtheater.com/
In June (June 15-June 26), it’s our annual youth theater workshop, “On with the Show”! This year, we’re doing a hilarious short called “Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Support Group?” Should be a lot of fun! And we’re hoping to be able to make the performance of it open to the public (it will be at Lowell Middle School) on June 26, so more on that later!) Sign your young actor up today at Lowell Arts! www.lowellarts.org
On the weekend of July 24-26, StageWorks at Studio 2-3-7 in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, is including our 10-minute play “The Reckoning Room” as part of their “New Works/One Acts” festival! Check out https://www.stageworksnj.org/ for more information on that!
On July 25, it’s the return of the Public Domain Sketch Comedy Spectacular! This year’s show is “Comedy Spectacular 3: Something Stupid.” And if that title doesn’t give you enough incentive, what else will? Tickets available now! 7 p.m. at Ambrosia Theater in Grand Rapids, Michigan! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1280245230949?aff=oddtdtcreator
So, it’s a busy theater summer for yer old pal Cuz. And more to come! We’re still aiming for “Cottage Weekend Nightmare” in the fall! And the podcast debut of our short play “Unbelted” on Theatrical Shenanigans will happen on November 22! And maybe another Christmas show? Somebody stop us! ![]()
Nonselections don’t bother me. I find a way to do what I wanna do. Hope you come and enjoy murder, comedy, what have you. We will do our best to entertain you. I guar-on-tee. ![]()
